Research Administrative Policies and Procedures

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (VCRO) has overall managerial responsibility for Berkeley's research enterprise. As such, it provides research policies, procedures, and support services both to the campus at large, and to the individual research units for which it has particular oversight responsibility. The VCRO Budget Group provides the following services to VCRO units: budgetary and financial consulting; training; audit coordination; exceptional approvals; recharge proposal review; PRT management; BFS/BAIRS access approval; and assistance with planning for campus-wide financial initiatives and processes.
